It is time for the Annual Meeting again. Attached is the Final Notice of Meeting, the Agenda and the Proxy.
The Proposed Budget and the the Reserve Pooling Sheet are on the Budget Page. You will receive this information in the mail, but I wanted to make sure everyone could get it as fast as possible.
I have also copied the Minutes for the October Board Meeting in the Minutes Section.

Any eligible person desiring to become a candidate for the election to the Board of Directors should provide your name, address, ownership information, background, education and qualifications and any other factors deemed relevant by the candidate on a 8 ½ x 11 paper and return it to the above address prior to the close of business on October 6, 2011. This information will be distributed to owners to help them make the selection of their directors.

Wireless Internet
I am happy to announce that we have a contract with a local vendor to take over the wireless service on the property. Because we have been able to keep costs down in the Resort, we are able to do this as part of the monthly dues. This vendor’s WIFI will be operational September 1st. I will be sending all of you the password for the new system as soon as I have it. Those owners that paid last July for a year, will be charged one more month for August for Connect Freely on your rental statement if you are renting through Coastal or on the Association statement if you are non- renting owner.

Century Plant
Many of you have heard of a century plant but have never seen one bloom. Once a century plant flowers, the plant dies. This summer we had a centruy plant flower at by the mail boxes in the Resort. It was a very fascinating process. Following are pictures showing the various stages of the bloom. After the last picture the plant bent over almost to the ground by the road. That is when we had to cut it off. In the 3rd picture you can see how the wildfires in the area affected the air at the beach.
